In 2007, Arina Rak’s work reveals a noticeable leap in complexity and ambition.
Her compositions grow more structured, with a stronger sense of depth and layering, while the forms become more refined without losing their expressive charm. There's a clear movement toward atmosphere and mood—evident in a snowy night scene featuring a Santa-like figure and in the serene woodland inhabited by a deer. Still lifes and underwater creatures coexist with wild, energetic abstractions, suggesting a year of bold exploration. Most striking is her first foray into a fully expressive, near-psychedelic palette—marking a shift toward emotional intensity and rhythmic color that would become a signature of her mature style. This year acts as a bridge between playful discovery and a more deliberate, painterly voice.
